Think of what happened in the finale again, and all those callbacks. What were they all about? Their story. What was the very thing that connected Sarah to Chuck once more? Their story. Sarah may not remember everything right now, but she felt it. This relationship affected her in a way no memory-wipe flash cards could ever erase. Their story is the reason this finale was so moving, and they’re simply going on a new phase in their journey together. New memories were always going to be created, memory-wipe or no. And most importantly, they are together.

And, you know, Chuck’s memory wasn’t erased. He’s still there.
